The smell of the shrimp cooking will make your guests run for the kitchen! The marinade makes the shrimp spicy and delicious; serve them hot from the skillet for best results. If you like, serve the shrimp as a main course over rice with a green vegetable or salad on the side. Ingredients 1/4 cup orange marmalade 1/2 cup fresh lime juice 3 large garlic cloves minced 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce 1/4 teaspoon dried hot red pepper flakes (more if you like it hot) 1 pound large shrimp (about 24), uncooked, shelled and deveined |
2. Place the shrimp in a large plastic sealable bag or in a glass bowl and add the remaining sauce. Toss well so all shrimp are coated and refrigerate for 45 minutes. (If you’re in a hurry, marinate at room temperature for 15 minutes.)
